The Creators Planning Toolkit

Most videos fail before the camera turns on. They fail because the creator had an idea but not a plan, a location but not a schedule, a feeling for the shots but no list to check them off against. The Creator’s Planning Toolkit replaces that guesswork with a disciplined, reusable planning system that fits every format on Bamboo Bubble, from a 30-second vertical story to a 20-minute documentary piece.

The toolkit opens with the Storyboard Library: 14 storyboard layouts covering 16:9 landscape and 9:16 vertical frames, in 4-panel, 6-panel, 9-panel, and 12-panel grids, each with dedicated fields for shot number, camera movement, dialogue or voiceover, sound, and duration. Two of the layouts are built specifically for vertical social video, with safe-zone overlays that show where platform interface elements will cover the frame. A separate thumbnail-storyboard sheet lets creators sketch an entire video on one page before drawing a single detailed panel.

The Shot List Suite provides 9 shot list templates, each tuned to a video type: narrative short, interview, product showcase, tutorial, vlog, event coverage, music performance, travel piece, and cooking or craft demonstration. Every template carries pre-filled shot categories for its genre (an interview template already lists the two-shot, the
over-the-shoulder, the B-roll inserts, and the room tone capture) so creators start from a working list instead of a blank table. The XLSX versions calculate total planned runtime, shots per location, and setup count automatically.

The Production Planning Worksheets are 16 single-purpose sheets that take a project from idea to wrap: the one-page project brief, the audience and intent sheet, the location scout report, the talent and crew sheet, the equipment pull list, the props and wardrobe list, the shooting schedule, the daily call sheet, the budget planner with category totals, the permissions and release log, the music and licensing log, the risk and contingency sheet, the data wrangling and backup log, the continuity sheet, the post-production handoff sheet, and the wrap report.

The Project Checklist Set closes the toolkit with 6 printable checklists mapped to the production stages: concept and research, pre-production, shoot day, post-production, publishing on Bamboo Bubble, and the post-publish review. Each checklist is written as a sequence of verifiable actions rather than vague reminders, so a creator can hand it to a collaborator and get consistent results. A 12-week content planning calendar and a 46-page companion guide explaining how to use every sheet, with worked examples for a solo creator and for a three-person team, complete the package.
